Can't stop, won't stop....growing....

Landon is now six months old, and we are having so much fun being parents. He heads to the doctor next week Wednesday to get his current stats (weight, length, head size, etc.). He had a great time dressing as Batman for Halloween but we enjoyed eating his candy. Munchie and him are getting along well and he thinks she is so funny. He is really active with flailing hands and feet and often kicks and hits her. He has spent the past couple weekends watching Oklahoma St. Cowboys with mom on Saturdays and watching the Packers on Sundays with dad. Next weekend we are running in the Dallas Run for the Homeless 5k. Brooke will be running with a coworker Laura and I will be pushing Landon in the jogger. Landon is now wearing mostly clothing that is 6-9 months and will be moving to size 3 diapers in a week or so. We are heading to Wisconsin for Thanksgiving and cannot wait to see the family. Hope everyone is doing well and enjoy the new pictures. Have a good weekend and GO PACK GO!!

Time flies as the baby grows!

Landon is five and a half months old now, and the weeks are flying by. We have had a busy month! Grandma and Grandpa T came to visit; they watched Landon on two week days instead of him going to day care, I think this was a treat for both of them. Landon grabs for everything, and currently is trying to grab the computer....he loves to bang on the keys. The jumper is his most fun toy at the moment, he can really get going in it. In a few of the pictures below you will notice we started our first round of solid/baby food, a mix of green veggie puree, courtesy of Gerber of course. It has been quite a challenge! He practically looks like he has bathed in baby food by the time we get done, for now it is cute....

Landon flips over on his tummy all the time, but he still hasn't figured out how to flip back onto his back. I'm sure that will happen soon. When he is on his tummy though he does all the right motions for crawling, so I am sure this is only a matter of weeks away too.

Even though he is too young to do any trick-o-treating this year, we still bought him a Halloween outfit and we can't wait to get him dressed up. Check back in a couple of weeks for those pictures, I promise they will be super cute.

We braved the cold last week to go to the Texas State Fair. I have always wanted to go ever since we moved here, and now we can say we have gone....nothing special, typical fair, and the weather was cold and grey.

Landon is mesmerized by Munchie, he can't take his eyes off her and sometimes when she runs around the room or barks he laughs SO HARD, he thinks she is hilarious. Then it makes us laugh and its all around good cheap entertainment. I think when he is older, Munch and him are going to be best buds.

Thats it for now, will post Halloween pictures in a few weeks.

4 Months Old Already???

Hello Everyone,
Today September 4th I turned 4 months old. I have started to become really active and can roll onto my tummy without help. I'm still unable to roll back onto my back but I know with a couple more weeks of practice I will have no problems. I just got over my first cold/virus which lasted about a week. I was running a temperature and my nose was plugged so mom and dad called me a piglet. Mom and dad would put nasal drops in my nose and boy did I hate that and let them know I disapproved. Daycare is going excellent and my room is filled with 7 other children. I really like Mrs. Tammy she spends the afternoons with me. She loves to hold me and plays with me on the floor mat. That reminds me I have started to become really vocal including cooing, babbling, and I love to laugh. Dad makes me laugh and giggle a lot, he's silly! Mom and I have developed quite a nightly routine and most nights I fall asleep on the couch around 8:30pm. Mom and Dad told me that grandma and grandpa T are coming in a couple weeks, I'm so excited. I have not seen them in awhile and they won't believe how much bigger I am. I couldn't hold my head up or anything the last time they saw me. We have been doing monthly webcams with them and while I don't know where they are or see them I know they can see me. Munchie and I are quickly becoming friends but I don't understand why she has the urge to sniff my ears and lick my arms, legs, tummy, etc. Most days I'm now eating around 6oz. of formula six times a day. Mommy and daddy keep joking they wish they owned the company that made the formula. This past weekend we went shopping and I got a lot of new clothes. I think by default I'm going to love clothes, have you seen my parents!! I know we haven't been doing postings as often but in mom and dad's defense I keep them very busy. Hope everyone is enjoying the pictures and I will attach a few recent ones of me and my sister Munchie.

I love to drool,
Landon Elliot Tetzlaff

Family Pics

Here are some pics from the Baylor University Law School graduation for Brooke's cousin Jon.

Update...

So this has been a difficult week for Brooke and I. On Monday we had to take Landon to Crayon Campus for his first day of daycare. Landon seems to be adjusting well and Brooke and I are very comfortable with the facility and the staff taking care of him. Most days I have been picking him up around 4pm and that smile he gives when he first sees me, is the BEST! Speaking of that Landon is now giggling, laughing, and smiling a lot throughtout the day. Last weekend we traveled to Baylor University in Waco to attend Brooke's cousin Jon's graduation from law school. Landon was talking the entire way through the initial welcoming from the dean. He is now sleeping through the night. Enjoy the new pictures we have posted!!
