Nursery Photos

Here are a couple pictures of the nursery. Clearly we have been watching a lot of HGTV. Brooke is a great decorator but I actually picked the colors and she approved!

Couples Baby Shower at Dave and Busters

After we pooled all of our tickets we walked away with a stuffed pug and teddy!

Ski ball at its finest!

Beautiful cake, and it tasted amazing too!

Baby bottle beer race, I promise there is only diet coke in mine! I think Robin was the big winner of this race, although he may have cheated!

Old college buddy Jolene, who I hadn't seen in forever, and her husband Robert.
It was a real treat to have them at the shower; it had been too many years since we caught up!

3d Ultrasound Pictures: can you tell, Boy or Girl???

Any opinions on gender now that you have seen the first pictures of Baby T?

03/10/2009 - 8 WEEKS TO GO!!!

Hello friends and family. I have been promising this blog for months now, and I am finally finding the time to sit down and set it up. Robin just started working nights, so it gives me plenty of time to get organized and keep people updated...I've got no more excuses!

Our latest news with Baby T includes a recent "couples" baby shower thrown for Robin and I by my oldest friend in the world, Mack. It was held at Dave and Busters and was perfect on all accounts. My friend Piper even surprised me by flying in from Denver for the shower, I couldn't have dreamed of a better surprise.

We are getting down to the last few weeks of the pregnancy, yes only 8 more to go. How time flies. I've posted some pregnancy pictures that friend and co-worker Jay is taking for me to memorialize the pregnancy transformation. Check out the fact that I used to have hips once upon a time! It really has been amazing how much my body has changed. Although I am not thrilled with the weight gain, I have embraced it and the baby bump. I know that I should consider myself lucky that no one can believe I am 32 weeks along, and it was encouraging to see at our childbirth prep class that although I was the second soonest due in attendance, I had the smallest baby bump by far.

I am chalking all of that up to my height, because I am definitely not starving myself. My appetite is HUGE. Robin is amazed at the amount I am able to put away in one sitting. I have to really watch myself and force myself to stop eating so that I give myself a chance to lose all this weight post-baby.

I will make an honest attempt to update this weekly, so check back often for more news and more pictures.

Love Brooklyn
